1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BuiltByMe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this site.

2. Product Submissions

When you submit a product to BuiltByMe:

• You confirm that you own or have permission to promote the product
• You grant us permission to display your product information publicly
• You understand that we reserve the right to approve or reject any submission
• You agree to provide accurate and truthful information about your product
• You understand that paid submissions are non-refundable once approved

3. Pricing & Payments

BuiltByMe offers multiple submission plans:

• Free Plan: No payment required, standard review queue (7-14 days)
• Launch Plan ($9): One-time payment, instant launch, permanent listing
• Featured Plan ($25/month): Monthly subscription, featured placement for 30 days, cancel anytime

All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Featured plan subscriptions renew monthly and can be canceled at any time through your account settings.

4. Weekly Competition

The weekly spotlight competition is based solely on upvotes from the community. We reserve the right to disqualify products engaging in fraudulent voting activities. Winners are announced via newsletter and social media.

5. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove, modify, or reject any product submission that violates our guidelines, including but not limited to: spam, illegal content, harmful products, misleading information, or content that violates intellectual property rights.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use automated systems to manipulate votes or rankings
• Submit spam, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent our systems or security measures

7. Intellectual Property

All content on BuiltByMe, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of BuiltByMe or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Product information submitted by users remains the property of the respective owners.

8. Limitation of Liability

BuiltByMe is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. We do not guarantee specific traffic or conversion results from any paid plan.

9. Refund Policy

All paid submissions (Launch and Featured plans) are final and non-refundable once your product is approved and live. Featured plan subscriptions can be canceled anytime to prevent future charges, but no refunds are issued for the current billing period.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of BuiltByMe after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
